WAYNE, Pa. — April 25, 2012 — MEDecision Inc., the leading provider in collaborative health management solutions, today announced that business and marketing veteran Ellen Donahue-Dalton will take on a permanent role with the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In this capacity, she will be responsible for solution development and strategic marketing initiatives, including product marketing, industry marketing, lead generation, and customer and brand experience. Donahue-Dalton has been a consultant to MEDecision since 2011, and her vision and strategic guidance have helped the company adapt and evolve in the rapidly transforming healthcare space.

Donahue-Dalton is actively involved in the healthcare arena, and has partnered with global, national, and emerging healthcare service and technology organizations to help define, segment, and penetrate markets, as well as build and deploy leading products. Prior to joining MEDecision, Donahue-Dalton founded and led the Dalton Marketing Group, where she served as a consultant and coach to high-growth organizations in verticals including healthcare, manufacturing, security and entertainment. Earlier, Donahue-Dalton served as vice president, worldwide marketing and divisional president of GTECH Corporation, a $1B+ (revenue) global systems, software and services provider, where she helped drive double-digit annual growth as part of that company’s founding management team. During her career, Donahue-Dalton has worked with clients including Magellan Health, Ceridian, Group and Pension Administrators, Inc., Bloodhound Technologies, and GTESS Corporation.
A passionate supporter of innovation through entrepreneurialism, Donahue-Dalton has served on the board of Social Venture Partners — RI, a state affiliate of an international organization that helps non-profits grow revenue- and job-producing businesses. She continues to coach social entrepreneurs who are building world-changing businesses. Donahue-Dalton holds a B.S. from Dickinson College, an M.S. from Boston University, and has done post-graduate work at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
